In honor of Women in Science Day, the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation would like to proudly recognize some of the brilliant women funded by PCRF who are leading the way in their fields and working to cure pediatric cancer.
Press Release – IRVINE, CA (April 3, 2018) –On Saturday and Sunday, Mar. 24 and 25, the 20th Anniversary Reaching for the Cure Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Kids Run race weekend was held on the Irvine Valley College campus with contributions totaling over $525,000 to help reach for a cure for pediatric cancer.
Leading cancer researcher, Alex Huang MD, PhD, has received a $450,000 Basic Science grant from Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation to study targeted approaches for effectively eliminating metastatic osteosarcoma.
